His name is Chris Gallant!!
He is the Lead Content Producer at Skills Canada where he makes videos promoting skilled trades and technology careers among youth…and I think he has a REAL SHOT at winning!!
FIRST, he’s good in front of a camera:
You can find him in Skills Canada commercials, OR doing presentations for students, and his linked in bio says he’s into public speaking AND “small scale” video production. So, that means he will have an idea of how production works and may know what they want from him in order to get more camera time. This isn’t a BAD thing, or a “here for the wrong reasons” thing – knowing HOW to be in front of a camera is IMPORTANT for your longevity on the show. Any Bachelor super-fan knows: if producers LIKE you, they’re more likely to HELP you.
Second, he and Michelle have a LOT in common!
Michelle Young is a 28 year old teacher from Minnesota. According to her official ABC bio, a major focus in Young’s career is helping to guide her students to become the next generation of community leaders.
Chris Gallant ALSO cares about giving back to the next generation (his Linked In bio specifically says: passionate about giving back to the next generation however I can 🙏), and in addition to the work he’s done with students for Skills Canada he was also a volunteer soccer coach – which is good that he is athletic, because Michelle was a basketball star in high school.
Third, he’s more than just a pretty face!!
Chris IS an attractive fella, but he is sooooo much more than that. He is an animal lover – he has has two cats named Cat and Small Cat – which is perfect for Michelle, who also loves the furry friends and has a doggo named Chief!
Chris appears to be LOVED by ALL on social media. While all his social feeds, and personal website, have been taken offline (his close friends and family all had to sign NDAs as well – BELIEVE ME, I attempted some major sleuthing) you CAN see countless Haligonians showing their support, and the collective opinion seems to be: “he’s SUCH a great guy.”
Take ALL of this into consideration, and add this one final thing: HE IS A POET!
Michelle’s season starts filming in California this week, and will film through the rest of the summer, premiering on October 19th and airing every Tuesday night.
AND, now that travel restrictions have been lifted, Hometown dates WILL BE BACK so IF Chris he gets in the top 4, he’ll be bringing Michelle to Halifax!!!
What Chris needs to know: Michelle LOVES ice cream – so, a visit to Cows or DeeDees is a must – AND her fave restaurants from home are all local food trucks SO I’m thinking Bud the Spud Chip Truck better be prepared…
GOOD LUCK, CHRIS!!! We’ll be cheering you on!
