The Pittsburgh Penguins will start the season without their Captain Sidney Crosby.
The 34 year old Cole Harbour native has just had surgery Wednesday on his left wrist and he will need at least six weeks of recovery that’ll keep him out of the lineup until at least October 20th.
Sid could miss the first four games of the season and return October 23rd against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Pens will start the new NHL season on the road October 12th against the defending Stanley Cup Champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Have a speedy recovery Sidney from Hot Country 1035!
