I was so happy to see former Halifax Mooseheads star Jonathan Drouin score for the Montreal Canadiens last night.
Jonathan was playing in his first regular season game since taking a personal leave of absence last spring.
He revealed last month he stepped away on April 28th last season to deal with anxiety and insomnia.
Jonathan says how he feels now compared last season: “My head’s clearer,” “I’m more in the game, I’m more focused, I’m more ready.”
It doesn’t matter what NHL team you cheer for, to see the smile on Jo’s face last night was awesome!

Welcome back Jo from all of us in Moose Country from Hot Country!
The final score was Toronto Maple Leafs beating the Montreal Canadiens 2-1 last night in Toronto in the Leafs Home Opener.
On another note, one of the referees was # 19 Gord Dwyer from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.
