A man is facing a second-degree murder charge after a weekend homicide in Truro.
Police launched an investigation after a body was discovered in an apartment early Sunday.
Nathan Joseph Knockwood was arrested without incident Tuesday.
The 31-year-old is charged in connection with the death of 53-year-old Troy Whidden.
Police do not believe the crime was a random act and they’re not looking for any other suspects.
It’s the second murder in the community since September when a young Indian man was killed.
Three people are facing charges in that death.
