The Halifax Thunderbirds Home Opener is Saturday night when they host the Saskatchewan Rush.
The Thunderbirds last game was 600 plus days ago when they played at the Scotiabank Centre also known as “The Nest.”
When they take to the turf they’ll be wearing special “Every Child Matters” jerseys.
They’ll be auctioned off online, with bidding on now and concluding Monday, December 6 at 7pm AT.
Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit Residential School Survivor programs across the province and throughout Canada.
