Hockey star Marie-Philip Poulin and short-track speed skater Charles Hamelin will carry our flag at the Olympic Opening Ceremony .
The pair have five Olympic gold medals between them.
Poulin who’s 30, won gold with her teammates in 2010 and 2014, scoring that clinching goal in each championship final.
Here’s her thoughts on being a flag bearer:
It is a honour to have you represent #TeamCanada @pou29 and carry the maple leaf into Friday’s Opening Ceremony. 🇨🇦
Here's to never wiping that smile off your face! 😊
