Police in Halifax have handed out nearly $130,000 in fines to people not following the rules surrounding gathering limits.
In total, 53 people were charged in the same day in two separate incidents.
Police say the first two fines were given on Friday afternoon to two 18-year-old men for exceeding gathering limits.
Later that night, police broke up a party in Halifax and wrote tickets up to 51 people.
Each ticket is worth almost $2,500.
