With the what’s happening in Ukraine, Halifax City Hall raised the Ukrainian flag yesterday.
It is a motion to stand with Ukraine and all Ukrainian Canadians including those who live here in HRM.
Mayor Mike Savage tweeted out the picture above.
Also, City Hall will be lit in blue and yellow Ukrainian colours at night.

Premier Tim Houston condemns the Russian attack and supports the people of Ukraine and our 9,000 Nova Scotia residents of Ukrainian decent.
The Nova Scotia-Ukrainian community is reeling from the Russian invasion.
Let’s hope this is over soon.
