If there’s anyone who can empathize with the people of Ukraine more than the average local here in Nova Scotia, the Syrian family behind the company ‘Peace By Chocolate’ can.
As you may know, the Hadhad family arrived in Nova Scotia back in 2016 after fleeing war torn Syria and everything they had, including a chocolate factory.
They set up shop here in Nova Scotia and the rest is a very sweet, rich and tasty history in the making.
