The Halifax Mooseheads open the 2022 President Cup Playoffs tonight on the road in New Brunswick against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in the best-of-five, first round matchup.
The teams will meet two times at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre in Bathurst before returning to Halifax for Game #3 at the Scotiabank Centre this coming Monday night at 7pm and Game #4 (if necessary) on Wednesday, May 11th at 7pm.
A potential Game #5 would be held back in Bathurst on Thursday, May 12th.
The last time the Mooseheads and Titan faced each other in the playoffs was 19 years ago.
Halifax heads into the playoffs on a 7 game winning streak.
Hockey experts online say the series is too close to call as both teams are evenly matched and they say whatever team wins this first round series will go deep in the QMJHL Playoffs.
