An investigation is underway into a hit and run in Halifax on Thursday involving a 14-year-old cyclist.
Officers were called to a collision involving a car and a bike at about 4 p.m. in the 1400 block of Oxford Street, south of Coburg.
Halifax Regional Police say the car stopped briefly and then left the area.
The teenager was taken to the hospital with what police believe to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a white man in his 50s with a scar on the side of his neck.
The vehicle is described as a blue Mazda or Subaru with British Columbia license plates.
