It’s going to be a real “dog fight” at the Memorial Cup!
From Saint John, New Brunswick last night the Hamilton Bulldogs, the Ontario Hockey League Champions, defeated the QMJHL Champions the Shawinigan Cataractes in the semi-final game 4-3 in overtime.
Despite a one goal and one assist outing by Olivier Nadeau and a brilliant 39-save performance by Antoine Coulombe, the @Cataractes_Shaw saw their #MemorialCup tournament come to an end following a tough overtime loss to the @BulldogsOHL.

This sets the stage for the Memorial Cup Final on Wednesday night “dog fight” that will feature the host Saint John Sea Dogs facing the Hamilton Bulldogs in the Port City for Canadian junior hockey supremacy!
Yesterday, Alan Doyle of Great Big Sea fame played an outdoor concert in the rain, but that didn’t dampen fans spirits at the Bash on the Bay!
Good luck to the Sea Dogs from here in Moose Country to bring the Mem Cup back to the Maritimes!
