The Halifax Pride Festival is getting ready to take over our city streets this weekend.
“Happy Pride” will ring out as the parade makes its way through the downtown on Saturday between noon and 3 p.m.
It has a new route this year, which will begin at Ahern Avenue, near Citadel Hill.

The parade will wind through major streets like Barrington and Spring Garden Road, ending on Bell Road next to the Garrison Grounds Festival Site.
Several Halifax Transit bus stops and routes will be impacted.
You can also expect delays in the area.
