The lastest appointments have been made for the Order of Canada including a few local names.
Cole Harbour’s, Sidney Crosby is receiving the honor for being one of the greatest hockey players of all time and supporting youth initiatives in the community.
Colleen Jones, for being a Canadian curling legend, a reporter and broadcaster for CBC.
And Eugene Levy gets a promotion within the order, for being an acclaimed Canadian actor and producer.
They are among the 99 on the list.
