Ice Jam is back this week with hockey teams in town to fill local hotels and restaurants.
Being held at the HRM 4-Pad in Bedford, this is the premier hockey tournament designed to give maximum exposure for U 18 Major, U 16 AAA and U 15 Major players here in Nova Scotia and around Atlantic Canada to scouts.
Many players that are scouted in this move on to play in the QMJHL with a few Halifax Mooseheads having been discovered at the tournament.
If you can’t make the games, Justin Belanger and the crew at High Button Sports will be covering the games:
The @EastCoastIceJam is only 5 days away! If you can't attend the games in person, don't worry, we got you covered.

My son Drake has previously officiated two Ice Jam Gold Medal Final games as a referee and this year he’s an Officials Supervisor coaching the officials working the games.

Itβs nice to see the tournament back once more that’s great for the local economy.
