Did you know about it? OF COURSE YOU DID. You’ve definitely been doing it for a significant part of your adult life. Whether it’s taking a little bit longer when running an errand to sit and enjoy a latte in the car while listening to your favourite podcast (might we suggest the Melody and Forman podcast?), or having your favourite snack without being hassled to share it, or even just reading a book before going into work – it’s all about taking some time to yourself in your car BEFORE going back to the grind of daily life. And psychologists are on board with it, as long as you aren’t doing harmful things during your alone time. Not that any of us cared if it was doctor approved, we were going to keep doing it anyway 😉
