You probably could have used a boat to get through the Armdale Rotary after a burst pipe.
There was so much water on Monday afternoon, it looked like part of the busy rotary was underwater.
As of 4 p.m., police advised drivers they could use the rotary as usual. Earlier, they had been asking motorists to avoid the area with all the water.
The road between Redwood Avenue and Whimsical Lake Crescent will only be open to residents of the area.
Customers in the Peninsula may experience low water pressure or brown water.

Meantime, crews are on Roosevelt Drive near Chebucto to repair the pipe.
“We are estimating that for the next 2 -3 hours, customers may have no water or very little pressure as crews shut down the broken water main for repair and the system repressurizes.”
There are 20-30 customers in the area close to the break that may have no water until the break is repaired.
