Those eligible for the grocery rebate can expect the extra cash this week.
This rebate was created to help compensate Canadians for the higher prices they’re paying on groceries due to inflation.
It is scheduled to be issued on July 5th alongside the next quarterly GST/HST credit.
There are specific criteria to receive the rebate, one is that you must have filed a tax return for 2021, even if you had no income to report.
