There’s a new way to beat the heat in Halifax as of today.
The Halifax Commons Aquatics Facility is now open to the public. It features a 13,500 square fit pool with the capacity to fit 300 people at a time, a barrier-free lift to allow safe access for users of all abilities, roped-off swimming lanes for lap swimmers and aquatic climbing walls, and a water plaza with interactive inground fountain sprays.
The pool opened at 1 pm today and will remain open for the rest of the summer.
