Halifax has twenty-six new police officers.
They were sworn in Thursday night after graduating from the Police Science Program at Halifax Regional Police Training School in Dartmouth, a private career college recognized by the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education.
Chief Dan Kinsella says the new police officers have a diverse background and bring experience, talent and dedication.
This marks the third graduating class after the school opened in 2019.
