Summer’s over and class is in session! Do you miss summer vacation yet or do you plan on sneaking a final trip in before getting back to business?
Here are a few off-season travel tips just for you:
Book your vacation in February
Flights tend to be cheapest in February, this is due to the month being right in the middle of working season and most of the northern hemisphere having not-so-great weather. On the contrary, July and December are the most expensive
Plan for the weather
Depending on where you’re going, the weather could be fairly drab. It might work out for you in warmer climates but if you’re headed somewhere cold or wet, be sure to be prepared.
Search for off-season attractions
Many tourist hot spots are only open during the busy season so make sure you’re planning to keep yourself busy. The benefit to travelling during the off-season is connecting better with locals and finding out where the best local spots are.
And finally… Travel Safe!
