A Maritime tradition returns tomorrow, Saturday, December 2nd with the 60th annual Christmas Daddies Telethon!
The telethon is traditionally when many trim their tree, write Christmas cards or start their Christmas baking.
It raised $1,500 that first year in 1964 and the next year support grew to an incredible $5,000. and to date has raised over $38.5 million for less fortunate children.

My job tomorrow is to look after Santa on the set.
As a side note, my wife Roxanne Robinson, has been the Executive Director for the past 25 shows and as she says they are a bunch of TV people who put on a show to raise money to help Maritime families at Christmas.
To say we’re proud of her is an understatement for this milestone of quarter century.
