Halifax’s New Year’s Eve celebrations are moving this year to the Oval with the free concert taking place at the outdoor rink on the Halifax Common.
Rankin MacInnis, Music Nova Scotia 2023 Entertainer of the Year winner, will be the headliner on the main stage, along with a group of other local musicians.
Celebrations will wrap up with a fireworks show and DJ.

The December 31st celebration has traditionally been held at Grand Parade in the downtown area, but it is currently the site of a homeless encampment.
