The Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League hosted Hockey Fights Cancer Events last fall.
The original fundraising goal for the league was $20,000, but that was beat with the teams raising an amazing $28,097 dollars, the official total for the league.
They’ll be doing a cheque presentation on Eastlink tomorrow between the games on the IceJam broadcast.
Congratulations to all teams for helping out with Hockey Fights Cancer Events.
Thanks to the Halifax Macs for having me MC their Hockey Fights Cancer game opening ceremonies back on December 2nd when Jacob Newcombe of the Cape Breton Eagles was there.
