Police are looking for information after a pedestrian was hit in a marked crosswalk just before 2 p.m. Tuesday, on Main Street near the Forest Hills Parkway.
Police say it happened when the vehicle was crossing the turning lane on the Forest Hills extension, heading inbound.
The driver did not stop and continued toward Dartmouth.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a white woman in her 30s or 40s with dark brown hair and medium build, driving a dark red hatchback car.
