It was a rough start to the QMJHL playoffs on the weekend as the Halifax Mooseheads lost both games to the Acadie-Bathurst Titan 2-1 in overtime on both Friday and Saturday nights here in Moose Country.
Both games were a goaltending battle between the Herd’s Mathis Rousseau and the Titan’s Antoine Keller.
The games were well attended with 8,176 there Friday and 8,013 on Saturday.
Games 3 and 4 are Tuesday and Wednesday nights in Bathurst, New Brunswick who now lead the series 2-0.
By the way, Halifax won all four games in Bathurst during the regular season, so let’s hope the regular streak continues in the playoffs!
Game 5 is scheduled for back here in Moose Country this Friday night April 5th.
