Yesterday my wife Roxanne and our son Trent made the trek from Halifax to almost the Miramichi in New Brunswick to experience the solar eclipse.
They chose to watch it from Cap Lumiere Beach which is between Shediac and the Miramichi.
Some of the pictures that Trent took from the start of the eclipse to the totality:

Have a listen to Roxanne describe their experience when she joined me on the radio today.
We said to Trent during the next eclipse in 2079, he’ll be 80 years old!
And finally, below is my 1983 original “45” record of Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart” that I played on CMHS, my high school radio station in Sydney Mines, Cape Breton.
