The man who was the subject of an emergency alert Tuesday, turned himself in to police Wednesday night.
Police say they responded to a report of a dangerous man in the area of Gaston Rd in Dartmouth Tuesday morning.
He was threatening people and was carrying a firearm.
He ran away before police could arrest him.
The 49-year-old suspect will appear in court today to face these charges:
· Assault
· Uttering threats to cause bodily harm or death
· Failing to comply with conditions of a probation order
