The 40th IWK Telethon is in the books raising a record-breaking $7,582,999.32!
It was another huge success thanks to Maritimers generosity.
The money will go towards updating equipment, advancing technologies and also research.
The very first IWK Telethon raised $649,000. so, we’ve come a long way over the past four decades.

It was great to see Steve Murphy back as one of the hosts.

There were tributes to the late Frank Cameron, my radio friend, and my fellow Caper friend Bruce Guthro who donated so much of their time to the telethon.

Both our fellas were born there and had major tune ups in the ’90’s as babies Drake is now 28 and Trent 25 so the IWK is very near and dear to our hearts.

Congrats to their mom, and my wife, Roxanne Robinson one of producers on the show!

Many months of long hours make the telethon happen; she slept in today for the first time in a while.
So, 7,582,999 thank you’s for helping sick and injured children in the Maritimes.
