It was quite a memorable weekend for Halifax’s Danny Walters who was chosen first overall by the Halifax Mooseheads, the team he grew up watching a cheering for.
Relive the special moment below with Danny and the Walters family.
The Herd picked Danny 11th overall as the hometown kid of the Halifax Macs now gets to play for The Herd! Some other Macs chosen by the Moose were Logan Trewin and Gavin Sudds who’ll be at the Mooseheads Training camp in August.

It was a big day for the Walters family in Moncton at the QMJHL Entry Draft.
The Mooseheads chose a couple of Cole Harbour Wolfpack players with Cole Bent and Cole MacLeod. Holy Coley!
Cole Bent is the younger brother of Moose alumni Kelly Bent.
