Firefighters had to rush to a significant house fire in West Bedford.
It broke out Saturday evening at a two storey, four unit row of town homes on Helen Creighton Court.
The blaze started at an end unit and firefighters were able to keep it from spreading in an area with many homes close together.
Thick smoke could be seen throughout Halifax.
