NHL hockey officially returns to action tonight as the 2024-25 NHL regular season BEGINS!
It seems like just yesterday the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers were battling it out in a winner-take-all Game 7 in the 2024 Stanley Cup Final.
Florida will unveil their Stanley Cup Banner tonight in a game facing Brad Marchand and the Boston Bruins.

All teams have their eyes on Lord Stanley’s mug.
From Auston Matthews to Connor McDavid and Connor Bedard, to Nathan MacKinnon and Sidney Crosby, the stars are once again about to shine on the ice!
Along with Florida hosting Boston tonight the Seattle Kracken are at home with the St. Louis Blues while the newcomer the Utah Hockey Club host Chicago.
The Canadian teams see action tomorrow night with Toronto in Montreal, Edmonton host the Jets and Canucks face the Flames.
(My son Drake took in a Leafs game in 2017 when Toronto beat the New York Rangers 8-5.)
