A police investigation has shut down an area of downtown Halifax.
Police say they responded to a report of a suspicious package around 1:20 p.m., Tuesday on the 5600 block of Spring Garden Rd.
Officers then closed the roadway between South Park and Dresden Row to investigate.
Details are few at this point, but police they will provide more information when it becomes available.
