We’re so proud of our Nova Scotia players Cole Harbour’s Nathan MacKinnon, and Sidney Crosby plus Hammonds Plains Brad Marchand representing our province on the international stage at the 4 Nations Face-off with Team Canada.
Nathan opened the scoring in Boston last night and also being tournament MVP with four goals!
It was awesome to see crowd shots of their families there cheering on our guys. I spotted Kathy and Graham MacKinnon as well as Trina and Troy Crosby. Earlier shots of Brad’s dad Kevin.
It was also cool to see Lower Sackville’s Gord Dwyer NHL Referee # 19 assigned to work the game, so four Nova Scotians were on the ice.

In the extra frame it was the passing of the torch in a way as Connor McDavid scored the winner from Mitch Marner and Cale Makar for the Team Canada overtime 3-2 Big W!
Bring on the Olympics next February in Italy!
