Did you know this movement started right here in Nova Scotia?
Back in 2007, two students took a stand against bullying by encouraging their classmates to wear pink after a new student was targeted for wearing a pink shirt.
That small act of kindness sparked a movement and since then, Pink Shirt Day has grown into a national event, recognized across Canada on the last Wednesday of February.

At Hot Country 103.5, we’re proud to stand up against bullying and promote kindness in our community. Check out our team rocking pink today!
