Beaches and outdoor pools in HRM are about to open for the season.
The city says this includes the Bedford and Cole Harbour outdoor pools and all supervised beaches, to open by July 1.
Swim passes for those two pools can be purchased online.
You can also buy a membership for the Bedford Outdoor Pool in-person at the LeBrun Recreation Centre, at the Cole Harbour Recreation Centre for the Cole Harbour Outdoor Pool.
The Halifax Common pool and splashpad opened June 15 but will now have extended hours.
Taylor Head Beach will now be supervised but Malay Falls will not be.
Testing for bacteria and blue-green algae will run from July 1- August 31.
