The Colchester County District RCMP say two people were arrested and stolen property was recovered after officers searched a home on Hillcrest Avenue in Bible Hill.
Investigators had been tracking reports of stolen property from August, when, on September 2, officers saw a stolen vehicle leave the address.
They conducted a traffic stop and seized a red Toyota Corolla.
The licence plate on the car was also seized; police say it belonged to a different vehicle and had been reported stolen separately.
Later the same day, officers searched the Hillcrest Avenue residence and recovered a range of items believed to be stolen, including a small tractor with a mower attachment, a wood splitter, an ATV, and an air compressor.
Police say owners have been contacted so their property can be returned.
Investigators also located equipment believed to be used for phone lines and associated to Bell Aliant. The RCMP note that recent thefts and damage to phone lines in Colchester and Cumberland counties remain under investigation, and they are examining whether the seized equipment is connected to those incidents.

A 19-year-old woman from Bible Hill was also arrested and later released on conditions, with a court appearance scheduled for October in Truro Provincial Court.
Cpl. Terry Brown of the Community Action Team said many of the items were easier to return because their owners had provided serial numbers, photos, and identifying details when they were first reported stolen.
