The 19-year-old woman charged with attempted murder for stabbing a six-year-old in downtown Halifax earlier this year, will be tried by a judge only.
The province’s public prosecution service says Elliot Chorney will appear in court Thursday.
It was in the afternoon of February 23 at a bus stop on Barrington Street when the boy was stabbed multiple times.
He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Chorney went through a psychiatric assessment after assaulting a psychiatrist at the Halifax Infirmary in January.
