A youth is facing robbery and assault charges after using an imitation handgun to rob another young person on a transit bus in Cole Harbour.
RCMP say it was February 10 around 8 a.m., in the area of Poplar Drive and Portland Street.
The suspect pushed the victim into a seat, pointed a handgun at their chest and demanded their sweater and ski mask.
The victim gave the items to the suspect, then got off at the next stop, uninjured.
Officers took the suspect into custody around North Preston Rd and Beals Crescent.
The imitation firearm and victim’s hoodie were seized near a home on Beals Crescent.
The youth appeared in court, February 10 and remains in custody until their next court appearance.
