Halifax Music Fest 2026 just made their lineup announcement this afternoon! Guess who’s coming?
The Chicks are returning to Halifax this summer, for the first time in 20 years, to headline on Night 1 on the Garrison Grounds in Halifax on Friday, June 26th!
Natalie Maines, Martie Maguire, and Emily Strayer last played the then Halifax Metro Centre in August of 2006 on their “Accidents and Accusations Tour.”
Also on the bill: The Bar Song Tipsy – Good News guy – Shaboozey will make his Halifax debut along with honorary Haligonians Blue Rodeo and upcomers the Barr Brothers.
The Chicks have charted 22 times on the American Billboard Hot Country Songs charts; “There’s Your Trouble“, “Wide Open Spaces“, “You Were Mine“, “Cowboy Take Me Away“, “Without You“, and “Travelin’ Soldier” all reached number one.
Music Nova Scotia will receive $1 from every ticket sold to support the growth and development of local artists and the industry through education, advocacy and investment.
Let’s hope for great weather like last June when Nickelback was here for the show.
