You probably know this already, but Halifax is the best place to live in Canada.
Now, it’s official.
MacLean’s ranked our city in the top spot of their annual list.
They factor things like population growth, health care, weather and new to the list is internet strength.
“We’re more aware than ever of the importance of living close to a good hospital, for example, and having takeout options from nearby restaurants—a major perk even if you can’t sit down to eat there. That’s why Atlantic Canada’s cities performed well, while its rural areas continued to be overrepresented in the bottom half.”- MacLean’s
Charlottetown finished in a tie with Halifax for the top spot.
Other places making the top five include Fredericton, St. Thomas, Belleville and Edmonton.
