The municipality has announced Chocolate Lake Beach is closed due to high bacteria levels in the water.
Recent test results show the levels exceed Health Canada guidelines.
The bacteria can be caused by many factors like dogs, birds, wildlife, and high temperatures.
The municipality will let us know when it’s safe to return to the beach for a dip.
