Halifax Regional Police (HRP) and search and rescue crews are looking for a kayaker that went missing at Long Lake Provincial Park.
According to a release from HRP, they were notified of the missing kayaker on Sunday at 12:40 p.m., identified as 26-year-old Jashansdeep Kaur.
Kaur is described as a South Asian female, slim build, 5’, with long dark hair. Last seen wearing a white tee shirt, black pants, with white and black sneakers.
Throughout Sunday afternoon there was a heavy presence from HRP and search and rescue crews on the water and around the park searching for Kaur.
