If you are one of the thousands of Halifax Water customers who was under a conservation notice, it has now been lifted.
Last month, the utility asked those who’s water supply came from Lake Major to watch how much they use, due to low levels.
The areas affected included Dartmouth, Westphal, Burnside, Eastern Passage, Harbour, Burnside, North Preston and Eastern Passage.
As of Monday morning, however, Halifax Water says, effective immediately, that is no longer necessary.
The utility thanks everyone for cooperation and patience, over the past few weeks.
