An overnight vehicle fire in Tantallon was quickly put under control by firefighters before it spread, according to the Halifax Professional Fire Fighters.
In a post on social media the union says they it was around 2 a.m. Monday, when they were called to Falcourt Run in Upper Tantallon.
Member from Station 65 arrived within six minutes to a car that was fully engulfed in flames and beginning to spread to a detached garage.
“Crews brought the fire under control before it could cause serious damage to the structure—preventing what could have been a much more devastating loss,” says the union in a statement.
“When seconds count, response time matters.”
