Multiple residents are without a place to live after an apartment fire in Dartmouth, Wednesday morning.
Jim Stymoeist Assistant Chief of Operations tells our newsroom they got the call around 9:30 a.m. for a fire on Primrose Street.
Thirty firefighters arrived on scene with a dozen units to a blaze that started on the 4th floor balcony, which quickly affected the 5th floor.
Everyone managed to escape with no injuries, however there could be up to six units affected with two that are destroyed.
A few cats were also saved, with crews still trying to find a few more.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
