A 13-year-old is facing a charge of mischief after a bomb threat at the Halifax Shopping Centre over the weekend.
Police say it happened Saturday around 4 pm.
According to staff, a teen went into a store and handed someone a note that said they had a bomb and then left immediately after.
Security started evacuating the mall right away.
About a half hour later, the suspect was arrested on scene.
There were no injuries, and no bomb was found, the mall was reopened shortly after.
The youth is scheduled for court at a later date.
