Miranda Lambert revealed on Instagram Thursday that she has a big announcement on the way. According to The Boot, the singer posted a short video that shows a neon sign and arrow lighting up, with the words “Coming Soon” displayed in the marquee.
The letters are black, with the exception of a pink “G” at the end of the first word. Lambert captioned the mysterious video with a simple smirking emoji.
Lambert’s last solo album, The Weight of These Wings, came out in November 2016. However, she dropped the Pistol Annies’ latest LP, Interstate Gospel, in November 2018.
***UPDATE***
After teasing a big announcement on Thursday, Miranda Lambert revealed Friday that she’s bringing back her all-female Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour for 2019. “The #RoadsideBarsandPinkGuitars Tour is back! I’m so excited and honored to be on a tour with some of my favorite artists who each inspire me in a different way,”
Lambert tweeted about the trek, which first ran in 2015 with an all-female lineup. Taste of Country notes that each concert on this year’s tour will feature a trio of opening artists from a rotating roster that includes Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Elle King, Tenille Townes, and Caylee Hammack. Pistol Annies, Lambert’s girl group with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, will also perform at all shows.
The 21-date trek kicks off with a two-night stand at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena on September 13-14. Lambert will then play such cities as Grand Rapids, Toledo, Baltimore, Columbus, New Orleans, Milwaukee, and Orlando, before wrapping things up on November 23 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
