A fire in Kentville is being investigated after a van that was on fire spread to a building around 5:00AM yesterday. Thankfully No one was inside the building at the time, which is a former church at the corner of Prospect Road and Highway 12. Although there was heavy smoke damage the building can still be repaired.

A collision between a car and truck back on Friday afternoon shut down part of highway 104 near Antigonish. Several people were seriously injured but all are expected to survive. Police had to detour traffic for several hours until the accident was cleared.
