Halifax Mooseheads fan favourite Jody Shelley leads the pack.
Shelley was with the Mooseheads from 1994-97, then became one of the NHL’s most feared enforcers, playing in 627 NHL games with the Columbus Blue Jackets, San Jose Sharks, New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers.

Rounding out the 2019 athlete class are powerlifter Jackie Barrett, who has won 20 gold medals in Special Olympics Canada and has set three world records, Jackie’s the first Special Olympian to be inducted!
Soccer star Suzanne Muir, who played for Canada’s national team and was an all-Canadian for the Huskies and rugby star Morgan Williams, who played a Nova Scotia-best 58 games for the national senior men’s team.
In the builder category, entering are basketball official Roger Caulfield and little league baseball coach Henry Boutilier.
The class of seven will be officially inducted into the Nova Scotia Sport Hall of Fame on November 15 in Halifax.
